BuyerHunt.com Proves "Reverse MLS" is the Better Way to Sell Your Home

Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) July 23, 2008 -- BuyerHunt.com announced today that Shane Ashcraft, an Arizona based Realtor, completed the sale of a $3.2M home on a lead acquired from BuyerHunt.com (http://www.buyerhunt.com) America's only "Reverse MLS".

BuyerHunt.com allows real estate agents in each city to profile the homebuying wants and needs of their most qualified buyers. These profiles are stored in a searchable database so that sellers have immediate on-line access to identify the right buyer for their home.

Just nine days after Shane posted a profile for a buyer he was working with, he received a call from an unlisted seller who said she had a home which might work for his buyer. Shane took his buyer to see the home and put it in escrow two days later.

For decades, home sellers have had no other option than to market their home "For Sale", and wait for a buyer to find them. Now they can proactively search for a buyer for their home.

BuyerHunt is still in its infant stages, officially launched only 3 months ago, and is currently focused only in the Scottsdale, AZ area. It has proven to be a prolific source of unlisted seller leads for participating agents.

"But with the rapid acceptance of the Internet as a medium by which agents are freely and openly communicating, the traditional model has found itself in need of improvement."

BuyerHunt allows a seller to not only view a current list of potential buyers for their home and the agents who represent them, but also make an educated decision on which agent is most active in their community in terms of procuring new buyers.
