Now that you know what the target is, you are able to focus your time and energy on the things that need to be done. If your main goal is to increase your customer base by fifty percent, you can focus a large portion of your time on advertising or marketing. If your goal is to start a website, your efforts will need to be spent on learning all about web-site building and creating or finding content to put on your site.

4. The Motivation Factor. Scientific research proves that just the act of setting a goal motivates you to achieve it. The mind is a powerful tool and deep down, most of us enjoy a good challenge.
